Jacob LaVallee is an American composer, pianist, and producer, born in Maine and educated at Florida State University's College of Music, where he graduated in 2010.

In 2011, he began his composition career by licensing his works for commercial use, earning numerous placements for various media projects around the world. In 2016, he felt drawn back to his piano-centric roots and embarked on a Modern Classical project, dedicating three years to its nurture and development before releasing it in August 2019.

 

Emerging from a period of stillness and contemplation, this project embodied a blossoming of authenticity that quickly caught the attention of the genre’s gatekeepers. In January 2020, streaming platforms began featuring Jacob’s music on their instrumental playlists and radio stations. To date, his independent releases and side projects have gained a significant following while quietly connecting with hundreds of millions of listeners across the globe.
